Novotel Metz Centre

The pool in the middle of the centre! The parking garage was fun! We did not realise we had to park the car on the designated hotel parking level so finding the car back was fun! (not being sarcastic, I really laughed as I just could not find my way out). The lift from the hotel brings you to the correct level but our car was not on it so spent ten minutes finding the car back in the labyrinth of the parking... And then finding the correct pedestrian exit was also a challenge i.e. impossible ;-)

Everyone was very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and functional. Excellent location. Right in the heart of the city. Only minor criticism is that it could be made clearer where to park as dedicated parking ramp to hotel is closed, and once in main shopping centre car park there is only a very small sign to show where hotel parking is. Other than that, great experience.

Room was beautiful and very large. Entrance area with hanging space and toilet had a door, meaning you could close this and have two doors between the sleeping area and the hotel corridor. Bathroom beautifully renovated with Rituals toiletries, which are my favourite. Wi-Fi was very good. Lovely to finish the evening with a drink by the pool. The pool was heated with plenty of seating and some loungers. Very close to the town centre. Easy access to many bars, shops and restaurants. We had read reviews saying the corridors were grey concrete but it seems renovations were taking place. Floor 1 was still grey and under renovation, but floor 2, which we were on, had been recarpetged and painted. Glass bottles were available in each room and in the corridor were water coolers which meant you could refill your glass bottle at any time with filtered water, meaning no plastic water bottles. A simple but great addition. Breakfast had a huge choice and was very fresh and delicious. We also ate this by the pool, although the restaurant was large. I would definitely stay here again.

The check-in was easy and the hotel's facilities were explained in detail by the staff at reception. Excellent location in the middle of the city, an easy walk to everything you may want to see. many good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Pre-reserved parking under the hotel make it easy to come into the city center.

I love Everything in the hotel and for the fact that it is located at the center mall that makes it more unique. Parking space is ok available near by restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurant Children play ground in and outside the hotel
